Privacy Policy — Algotell (Android App)

Application: Algotell (“App”)
Algotell is a telecalling process management app provided by Algorithus Pvt. Ltd. as a commercial service. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use/share it, and the choices you have. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

2. What we collect
2.1 Data you provide
- Account & Profile: name, work email/phone number, organization, role.
- In-App Inputs: notes/tags on calls, campaign and contact metadata you create or upload.
2.2 Data collected automatically
- Device & App: device model, OS version, App version, language, crash logs, diagnostic data.
- Usage: screens viewed, actions taken, session timestamps, approximate region from IP address.
- Network: IP address, carrier, connection type.
2.3 Data from device permissions (only if granted)
Depending on your usage and organization’s configuration, the App may request:
- Phone state / call status (READ_PHONE_STATE): to detect call lifecycle and attach outcomes.
- Contacts (READ_CONTACTS) (optional): to look up or display names for numbers you select/import.
- Call logs (READ_CALL_LOG) (optional, if enabled): to sync call metadata (no call content).
- Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO) (optional): for voice notes or call recording features.
- Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): to alert you about tasks/calls/follow-ups.
- Foreground service: to keep critical telecalling features active during use.
You can change permissions anytime in Android Settings. Denying optional permissions may limit related features, but core App access remains.
2.4 Audio recording (if enabled)
If your organization enables voice notes or call recording, we may collect:
- Voice notes: audio you choose to record inside the App.
- Call recordings: only with legal enablement and required consent. The App will indicate when recording is active.
We do not record calls without your action/consent. Retention follows your organization’s policy.
2.5 We do not collect
- Precise GPS location.
- Biometric identifiers.
- Payment card numbers.
3. Why we use your data
- Provide and operate App features.
- Show contact/call details tied to campaigns.
- Analytics and diagnostics to improve stability and performance.
- Security, fraud prevention, and abuse detection.
- Legal compliance and enforcing our Terms.
- With consent, send updates or marketing (opt-out available).

5. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell personal data. We share only with:
- Processors/service providers under strict contracts.
- Your organization’s administrators.
- Legal & safety purposes.

If we use third-party SDKs, we will list them in your published version.
6. International transfers
Data may be processed on servers outside your country with safeguards in place.
7. Retention
- Account & campaign data: while subscription is active + 24 months after termination.
- Call logs: 18 months (default).
- Audio: 12 months (default).
- Analytics/logs: 24 months.
Data is deleted or anonymized after retention unless required longer by law.
8. Your choices & rights
- Manage permissions via Android Settings.
- Opt out of marketing via unsubscribe or email.
- Access/correct/port/delete by emailing algotell.com@gmail.com from your registered address.
- Delete account/data in-app or via email.
9. Security
- Encryption in transit and at rest.
- Access controls, auditing, and least-privilege policies.
- Secure development practices.
10. Children
Intended for business users 18+. No data knowingly collected from children.
11. Changes to this policy
Updates will be posted in-app and on the website with a revised date. Material changes may be communicated via in-app notice or email.
